Do You Need Some Assistance?
Help is a call away.
To receive assistance, you must live in a Village that has a Caring Neighbors Group and you will need to apply. It takes about one
week to complete the process. After the initial process, a couple days’ notice is requested for future services. Each neighbor-client
receives a refrigerator magnet with the name
and phone number to call whenever they are in need of assistance.
Some neighbor-clients use the services just once a year for
transportation to a colonoscopy or for impending knee surgery.
Others may request weekly or monthly assistance.
Our services are not guaranteed, but we do our best to meet our
neighbor-client's requests. There are few requests that our generous
volunteers are unable to fulfill.
